Yesterday, 16 South Dublin schools fell victim to yet more exam blunders from the State Examinations Commission. Half of the paper was missing.

We’re going to look horribly copycat and late on to the scene with this post but believe it or not this post was started a few days ago and i’ll tell you what triggered it…

Earlier this year we ask you could predict whats coming up in the leaving cert exams. Recently some people have been offering predictions on what the thought might come up in the 2010 Leaving Certificate in some subjects. We didn’t get as much feedback as we’d like but maybe this time people might stand up and take a lot more notice as it’s time to hit the leaving cert panic button.

It’s panic mode for all you leaving cert students at the minute with the exams approaching like a freight train. One question. Not ‘what do you prefer – facebook or studying?’ that’s a bit obvious but rather ‘how much time are you spending on facebook when you should be studying?’ Is facebook wrecking your chances of passing your leaving cert?

Paddypower have some interesting novelty leaving cert bets such as a 6/1 shot of ‘blonde’ being the hair colour of the person with the highest points or 10/1 on the temperature to top 30 degrees at some stage during the leaving.

We’re assuming by this stage most people have finished their mocks! We’re calling them mock exams as in one of our recent polls: ‘Pre’ or ‘Mock’ Exams – What should they be called? you all voted for them to be called mocks by 2 votes to 1.

Right we shouldn’t really be posting this one yet but we hardly expect many visitors on here after the final exams finish so we’ll at least attempt to get the party started before it actually starts…
