And since we got no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..

There are three things I will frankly never grow out of: Pokemon, The Lion King, and enthusiasm for snow. I also enjoy the way the country totally shuts down – except for my lovely cabbie the other night; you sir, are a trooper. Unfortunately, my school is among the 2 things that are not snow-affected – the other being Tesco. Good ole Pobalscoil wouldn’t close for hell freezing over, nevermind Cork. However, the cancellation of buses might come to my favour. I live about 5 minutes walk from the school mind you, but if the car won’t get across the road, not a chance am I walking. Frankly, it’s clearly too cold to be educated.

My lack of drive to actually attend school has become somewhat problematic since ridiculousness that was the Pre-Pres/November-Christmas Exams/Sanctioned Torture of Exam Students is now behind us. They were actually alright in themselves (although please don’t tell anyone in my year I said that, I’ll get a severe blunt force trauma to the head and I really quite enjoy not being in a coma), and I’m very pleased with my results, but because I didn’t really do much work for them, I’ve totally switched off. I stayed home on Monday last week because I had a mild cold.. and I wanted to reread the 7th Harry Potter after seeing the movie on Sunday. A day well spent, I might add. My good intentions of full attendance and hard work are well and truly behind me, and now I’m happily doing the minimum until pressed, and then a short burst to get the grade up. A system that’ll definitely work for the actual exam.

In better news, IT’S 4 WEEKS TO CHRISTMAS ๐Ÿ™‚ While that does kind of strike fear into my heart in some ways, I love Christmas very much, and the idea of not getting up early for two weeks is fairly beautiful. The fact that the year is flying by ridiculously quickly is pretty terrifying, my new lackadaisical attitude embraces the impending break. Anyway, I should probably stop blathering on without anything major to say, and end this. G’luck, and I hope everyone has snow! ๐Ÿ˜€
