Hey everyone!
I’d like to say it’s good to be back… See, for those that don’t know I was a blogger on what used to be leaving-cert.net for the Leaving 2010. I didn’t get Medicine last year so I find myself repeating. Apologies for blogging so late – it really has been a crazy week. I might’ve underestimated repeating just a tad. I mean, I don’t regret it but I forgot just how crazy 6th Year can be.
I’m really an average guy. I like running, watching films, reading the odd leabhar and listening to music… though my iPod is sorely in need of a good clean out with some new tunes. Most of my friends have gone on now to college and I find myself facing down the next 9 months not too delightedly, mostly because I won’t have the same gang along for the ride. I’m sure there’s a few repeats out there keeping an eye on the blogs and I have skimmed in and out to see what the new team are like – big hey ho to all you guys too 🙂
This is really only a short introductory blog, I’ll be checking in in the middle of the week hopefully and blogging full-on next week, that you can be assured off because the study timetable is out, my notes and folders are all organised…
Here we go again…!
Mr. X
hey mister X,im very proud of you for making the plunge and taking a risk for your own dream.I know how you feel.Im repeating too,in an all girls school after 5 years of a mixed education.I cant wait to hear all about your experiences. Its tough repeating,i got 410 after months last year of chronic stress and study. It was a slap in the face. This year i feel im more chilled about certain things like subjects and teachers but the points race has reached a peak this year.
but anyways i cant wait to hear your new blogs.I loved last years and you did get an amazing leaving,it just wasn’t the right time
hope your year is excellent,
O
Orlaith, I completely understand what it’s like. Stick around, I’m going to be a lot more regular now that I’m into the routine of it.
Yeah, the points are a bit of a concern for me too. But I don’t see them taking a jump like this year, it just wouldn’t work. Fingers crossed though. What’re you going for?
So, did you ever end up getting medicine? 😉
