Freeeeeedom!

Well, it’s over! ๐Ÿ™‚ And, judging by the cheer that went up around the exam centre at the end of the tape, a lot of other people are done too. Sweet ๐Ÿ˜‰

Overall, it wasn’t as awful as I thought it could have been. English was beautiful (Team Dickinson for life!), Maths Paper 2 compensated a bit for Paper 1 (although I’m still praying for that bell curve to throw me up a bit higher on the grades), Geography was fine, Irish was ย GIFT of a paper, I loved Biology, and German was pretty straight forward. Only one I didn’t like was History, and well, I was never going to like History. I made my peace with this a long time ago, it was never going to be counted for points. That being said I reckon I scraped a low B or high C, and I was happier coming out of that exam than I was for any others because it meant that dratted subject was out of my life forever! I feel safe in saying that because even if the dreaded repeat came my way, I would NOT be doing it again..

I haven’t really absorbed the fact that I’m done yet, but it was a beautiful feeling when I came home and didn’t have to think about studying, going over stuff for the next day, what exam I’d have tomorrow.. I reckon the freedom feeling will really kick in later tonight when we all go discuss our exams over a cup of tea. Ahem.

So now all we have to do is enjoy summer, right? And not think about this again for 2 months.. I reckon I can manage that ๐Ÿ˜› Although come the night of August 16th, I’ll be a gibbering wreck! All I can do is pray for points to come down. 570, howareya.

Anyway, congratulations to all those who are finished, and best of luck to anyone with exams still to come. See you on the other side, I’m off to get a bit of celebrating done!
