Okay, as you all are probably aware at this moment in time, I’m not all that bothered by the leaving cert. I’m not sure if its just that it hasn’t hit me yet, or I genuinely don’t give a damn. I suppose I’ll soon find out.
Anyway, so the mocks are coming up next week and run for 2 weeks in our school. I am missing days 1 and 2 because I’m going to a camera show in Birmingham. But don’t fret, I actually went to the teachers and I have organized to take the exams at another time. Then I miss a morning in the following week due to my driving test, which, personally, I rate 10 times more important than the leaving cert.
I fear every time I write here that it becomes a public display of my “give a damn” being broken. Honestly I try not to convey things like that, but I suppose it comes across as that.
I haven’t started studying just yet, I am spending the week catching up on business maters, and other stuff involving money. Maybe I’ll give things a look over the night before each exam, we’ll see. But I’ll keep yall’ updated as i go 😀

Sorry but why do you post a blog here when you are a complete a and utter waster?? This site is surely for people focusing on the LC and trying to do well not for waster’s like you to go around with the “Im so great” attitude. It’s people like you that have turned the economy to crap.

I don’t really care about the Leaving at all. I know that I need it to get to university but beyond that I don’t care. I could do well, but I don’t need to, and a year from now, if I get the place I want, I won’t give a damn about the LC.

interesting views, but at the end of the day it’s just an exam to educate and meant to ultimately motivate teenage adults in preparation for the real world. Can’t think of any other way to do it, obviously a lot of changes can be made but there will always be an exam. It’s certainly an inconvenience but kinda essential.

couldn’t agree more. The leaving cert is just a game to win some points. I just feel bitter that i have to get points to get into college to learn what i want.

I like having you here Paul! It wouldn’t exactly be a realistic Leaving Cert blog if it was all written by Medicine hopefuls!

Did my leaving last year! The difficulty is way exaggerated!
i was aiming for 400 points with 7 subjects( i didn’t know till the day that you only count your best 6! :L) and ended up getting 440 points with 6 subjects!
If you pay attention in class and understand everything you’ll do good!
