Ode to Grace

Isn’t Grace just a gorgeous name? :O I love it. It’s a name for the gods and all their perfection. But enough about sexy beasts, lets talk about my least favourite subject. Irish. Strike that, my worst subject, I don’t really mind the language. And I was just thinking of why I still can’t speak it after fourteen years of learning.

You see, over the summer I went to Irish College (Baile Bhuirne, Co. Cork. I recomend it :D). And most of my class were fluent in the language, planning to do their Leaving Cert as Gaeilge. Which made me think, why the hell are the rest of us left to struggle and drown in partially learning it? All schools should be Gaelscoils. It’s the only way the rest of us numbskulls will actually learn the language.

Anyway, two weeks in and everything seems to be going grand. Bit of pressure getting homework AND study done on the weekend and paying for all those exam papers. But hey, we’ll do what we can.  My methods of stress relieving is pretty good if anyone want to try: take The In-betweeners and School of Comedy on a Monday, twos doses of Friends daily, The Big Bangs Theory and How I met your Mother on a Thursday and don’t forget regular check ups of roflrazzi.com. Simples! 😀

Tchuss,

Eadaoin

P.S. I love you, Grace.
