*”Oh-ho-ho” witty oral joke here*

I woke up this morning afternoon after the first good night out in a long time. We threw the study plans into the wind and headed into town – and I think it’s done more good than a week’s study. Yeah, the Leaving’s coming. Yeah, it’s all hitting home now that in a few weeks we will be sitting exams that, for some of us, will decide the rest of our lives.

I’m sick of talking about orals, the mistakes we made… the awful, awful jokes that surround it. So I’m not going to. It’s done, it’s over- and bar those of us going for language/teaching degrees- we never have to worry about it again.

I guess what this short, snappy, headachey post is getting at is study hard, but don’t forget about your friends and your life outside these exams. It’s easy to get swallowed up and obsess over the small details, exam technique and getting all these projects done. If you haven’t done it in a while, go out and have some fun for a few hours with your mates! That’s an order!
