Not much to talk about this week, except maybe an update on ongoing projects.

DCG has FINALLY started to pick up some steam. I’ve got the first draft for Output 1 done after harvesting a wealth of info from certain places of the internet. [Kudos to whoever gave me the tip-off about the T4 website. I can’t remember who it is but ye know who you are!] That said, I am DREADING Outputs 2 and 3 – the Freehand Sketch outputs. My sketching has never been to a high standard. Ever. It’s put me at a disadvantage many a time over the past few years, but not more so than it has with DCG. The problem is, it’s such a massive part of the coursework. If it was just a simple sketch, I wouldn’t complain, but the fact that they have to be so detailed does not appeal to me in the slightest. Sometimes I wonder why I chose it as a subject, and this time is one of them. Ah well. Live and let die, as they say.

Spanish Role Play Studying = Bombshell.com. ‘Nuff said on that, really! ๐Ÿ™‚

Now for the debut of English on this blog! At the moment, we are studying the poet Adrienne Rich. And allow me to be frank here: I do not get this woman at all. Half of the time, I can’t help but think that she’s talking rubbish. Or that she’s talking for the sake of talking. Whatever floats your boat. And although the notes tell us that she writes about feminism, about male oppression and about other things, I simply can’t see them in the poems that she wrote. I’m sorry, I try my hardest to see the meanings behind the poems. Believe me, I really do! But it just seems completely impossible.

Before I go, just a quick note on Maths. Today we started Vectors, and it has completely changed the way I think about things in a mathematical way. You can argue that that’s a good thing, or a bad thing, I don’t care. But I’m just saying that it’s changed everything.

And on that bombshell, it’s time to end. Be good now! ๐Ÿ™‚
