TBH, I think there’s WAYYY too much stress put on every student sitting the Junior and Leaving Cert. I always hear people saying that if you don’t do well in your leaving cert, you’re on the dole for the rest of your life. this is complete and utter bogus. so what if you don’t do well?
Go back and do it again! If you didn’t get the course you wanted, it’s fine! There’s plenty of courses that are similar to the one you want to do.
Also, don’t go to a certain college just because your bestie is going! Go to the college that you have an interest in, and wish to go to!
And also, don’t stress about the Leaving Cert! Remember, a piece of paper cannot define your ability, skill, or intellect. Just because you may answer something differently and you may get marked down on it, doesn’t mean that you didn’t understand the question! You just chose to answer it in your own way, in a way that you interpreted the question! That’s one of the biggest problems, is that an examiner cannot interpret the way you read or understood the question, they correct it based on their understanding!
