is everyone doing B part i ? who doing ii ?
I think if you do B part (i) you need a good three modifications,and if your doing (ii) you can just go nuts with a way out there concept…only problem is these nat navs are incredibly dull..
I’m finishing my new concept design. I think it’s much more fun because the ideas and boundaries are limitless. Also I find the Concept much more challenging :P. I included:
1) OLED bendable touch screen which rolls up in Sat Nav and spreads out when Sat Nav lid opens.
2) Solar panels on back of lid so when Sat Nav opens the sun can shine through the car window and add to the battery life.
The design is a bit like holding a book and when you open it (face way up pages facing you) ,away from you, the OLED Bendable touch screen, attached to lid, will unroll and when stretched from Bottom of Sat Nav to the lid you’ve got your screen, which has shade from the sun because of the top of lid it’s attached to. Because the screen isn’t built into face of Sat Nav it has a really big area to stretch out into (gives driver plenty of screen to see)
It also has car charger attachment (outside book), audio speakers and extra memory slot ( SD ) inside. Also because of the book closing design the screen is protected whenever not in use.

Do part B(ii)!!! Its alot easier. You can simply design any crazy idea you have and the only way to loose marks is either not enough research or bad presentation! Plus the slod works part will be alot easier!

mine is made of solid gold and satin finished platinum. A1 standard. cooney is a douchebag. his project is pathetic. i cant do drawings though. so im funked.

What kind of marks do people get for the dcg project. I know for history the average is like 90%. But what should you expect for dcg?
Thank God the project is over. Just have to do the exam now
