Come here often? No I really don’t.

Hello my fellow procrastinators, it’s been awhile! I promised myself when I started the leaving cert there were ten things I wouldn’t do:

1: Skip study or school for ANY reason whatsoever.

2: Allow myself to predicate anything for ANY exam no matter it’s importance.

3: Lose my social life.

4: Expand my social life.

5: Fall asleep before 9 from exhaustion.

6: Let all my assignments and projects build up.

7: Distract myself with a tv series.

8: Eat ALL THE TIME.

9: Cease all exercise.

10: Lose faith and decide my life’s ambition is to make jam.

I have achieved all aside from number 10 since Christmas, but at the moment it’s lookin’ pretty damn good! My daily habits now consist of 7 meals a day, bed at 7 and the walk from the lockers to the prefabs out the back is the physical activity I’m going to get. So really making jam is something which would appeal to the person that I have become.

All jam aside…………………………….MOCKS NEXT WEEK :O

I feel strangely relaxed about it all. All I can do is my best and really mocks are the wake up call everyone needs to give themselves a kick and step it up. On the topic of next year the CAO has been filled and the UCAS application has been sent. So far I’ve received achknowledgments from all of the Uni’s and today I received an email from Queens requesting a writing sample of mine: to be four pages long typed. This is really just the tip of the iceberg on the mountain of work I have. The highlight of the email was that my reply has to be sent by the 4th of March which is not only the last day of my mocks ( Biology and English P1) but my birthday! Busy day for me! If I’m successful I’ll be offered an interview for a date in April. Who would like to place a bet that this date ( if I get an offer ) will be during the orals! I also heard from St Andrew University that I will have received their decision by the 31st of March. March will be a busy month for me!

CAO wise its all been done and dusted with all ten places filled top two Trinity and then next 5 Galway rounding it off with UL and UCD. All english and at this stage any would make me happy:)

Now boys and girls it is time to say au revoir, As I have just noticed it is 9:35 and that is roughyl two hours past my bed time. Good luck to all who are doing mocks!

    1. I did ty aswell! Unfortunatly I’m at a crossroads where I’m not sure whether journalism is the way for me and I’m actually considering coming back to repeat and take the time to think about what I really want to do.
